Bethany Care provides services to individuals 18 years of age and older only.

By using this Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Telehealth Services

Bethany Care provides telehealth services in accordance with applicable laws, including Texas regulations.

By using telehealth services, you agree that:

You understand the risks and benefits of virtual care
You consent to receive services electronically
You will provide accurate and complete information

Appointments & Payments

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed
We may accept self-pay and select insurance plans
Fees are subject to change at any time

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a fee
Repeated no-shows may result in discharge from the practice

Prescribing Policy

Bethany Care follows a safe and conservative prescribing approach:

Schedule II stimulant medications are not prescribed
Controlled medications (Schedule III–IV) may be prescribed only when clinically appropriate
Benzodiazepines are used rarely and typically short-term

Treatment decisions are made based on clinical judgment and patient safety.

Privacy

Your use of this Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Discharge & Termination of Services Policy

Bethany Center for Psychiatry & Behavioral Health, LLC is committed to providing consistent, high-quality care. In order to maintain safe and effective treatment, the practice reserves the right to discontinue services under certain circumstances as outlined below.

1. Missed Appointments / Non-Compliance

Patients may be subject to discharge from the practice for:

Three (3) missed appointments (“no-shows”) or late cancellations within a six (6) month period
Repeated failure to attend scheduled appointments necessary for ongoing care
Failure to follow agreed-upon treatment recommendations or care plans

A warning may be issued after repeated missed appointments prior to discharge.

2. Medication & Safety Concerns

The practice may discharge patients for:

Misuse, diversion, or inappropriate use of prescribed medications
Repeated requests for early refills without clinical justification
Non-compliance with medication monitoring requirements
Behavior that compromises patient or provider safety

3. Inappropriate or Disruptive Behavior

Discharge may occur in cases of:

Verbal abuse, threats, harassment, or inappropriate conduct toward staff or providers
Repeated boundary violations or misuse of communication channels

4. Administrative Reasons

Services may be discontinued for:

Non-payment of fees or outstanding balances
Insurance or administrative limitations affecting care
